For over 20 years, the owner of Work Wise Labs, Elissa Zylbershlag, M.Ed., has been a leader, educator and facilitator in the anti-bias education field. Most recently she has worked for the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, the New Jersey State Bar Foundation and the Anti-Defamation League. She has been sought out as a diversity, equity and inclusion specialist and to build departments from the ground up. Along the way, she’s created successful programs and strong teams—learning just as much from the challenges as from the wins. Now, she shares those lessons with her clients, helping them build more connected, inclusive and effective workplaces.

Elissa holds a M.Ed. in Multicultural Education from National University and a B.A. in Religious Studies from Ithaca College. She also holds a Certification in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.

Work Wise Labs grew organically as colleagues all along her path sought Elissa out for guidance and advice on how to emulate her successful teams.  She now shares what she has learned through Work Wise Labs.
